The plumbing infrastructure needed reconfiguration, as shown by the exposed and damaged pipelines. The insulation, essential for comfort and energy efficiency, was incomplete, leaving much room for improvement. 

Overall, the space lacked the professional and welcoming environment essential for a recruitment office, which serves as a pivotal point of first impressions for recruits and visitors alike.

Challenges Addressed

• Infrastructure Update: The outdated electrical, plumbing, and insulation systems were inefficient and required modernization to meet current standards.

• Aesthetic and Functional Design: The space required a professional design that blended functionality with a welcoming and patriotic ambiance suitable for a Navy recruitment office.

• Reception Area: The reception space has been transformed into a welcoming area featuring comfortable seating, clean lines, and a modern aesthetic. Navy-themed accents were added subtly, enhancing the identity of the space.

• Private Offices: Dedicated office spaces were created with enclosed glass partitions, providing privacy for consultations while maintaining an open and airy feel.

• Conference and Work Areas: The layout now includes functional workspaces equipped with modern furniture, improving efficiency and collaboration.

• Restrooms: ADA-compliant restrooms were designed with neutral tones and high-quality finishes for accessibility and ease of maintenance.

• Lighting and Ceilings: Bright LED lighting paired with a suspended ceiling system ensures the space feels open, professional, and energy-efficient.

• Flooring and Walls: Durable, high-quality carpeting and tile flooring were installed, and the walls were painted in neutral tones with navy and gold accents, creating a clean and polished appearance.
